Gabrielle is the Head of Research & Development for Helix BioPharma Corp. She carried out doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Immunobiology (Freiburg, Germany) and
postdoctoral research at the Princess Margaret Hospital (Toronto, ON) and Robarts Research
Institute (London, ON). She then worked as a Research Associate in the Department of
Experimental Oncology at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, AB) before transitioning to
industry in a senior scientist role at IN8bio (Birmingham, AL, USA). Joining Helix BioPharma Corp in August 2022, Gabrielle brings over two decades of experience in research encompassing a wide range of techniques from protein biochemistry and cellular biology to multiparametric flow cytometry and preclinical murine models of cancer. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with Majors in Biochemistry and German Studies from the University of Guelph, a Master of Arts in German Studies from Queen’s University and a PhD in Molecular Immunology the University of Freiburg, Germany.
