Iain Wilson BSc. in Chemistry
Research Technician
Iain Wilson earned his BSc. in Chemistry at the University of Alberta after which he worked in
the toxicology lab at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton. Iain then took a
position synthesizing peptides at the Protein Engineering Network of Centers of Excellence at
the University of Alberta. Iain has over forty years of laboratory experience, with expertise in a
wide range of analytical and biochemistry techniques as well as the operation and repair of lab
instruments. Iain has been a Research Technician at Helix BioPharma Corp since 2004, handling various administrative tasks alongside working in the lab.
